Mixing Florals + Leather

Well, we all thought spring had sprung in NC until this morning of 30-degree weather. Somehow this winter I acquired a handful of jackets, which I’m excited about but always thinking about how that translates to the next season.

This particular faux leather jacket I’ve had for a few years. I got it when I studied abroad on our first weekend trip to Paris. It was a splurge item for me and still one of my favorite jackets. I hate letting go of it for the summertime!

So instead, I decided to mix it up with some florals. I love the contrast of this look with the black jacket, stark white tee and sneakers, then the bright florals. Throwing a jacket on over your favorite shorts look is perfect for cool spring or summer evenings!
